Backup Internet and Automatic Failover in Dallas–Fort Worth
A single internet connection is a single point of failure. We design and install backup connections that take over automatically, so card readers, VoIP phones and cloud apps keep working.
How we handle backup internet & failover
Most small businesses run everything over one internet circuit: payments, phones, email, cameras and cloud software. When a fiber cut or carrier outage takes that line down, the whole business stops, sometimes for hours.
We add a second path to the internet, usually a cellular LTE or 5G router or a second wired circuit from a different carrier, and configure your firewall to fail over automatically. We can also prioritize traffic so that payments and phone calls get the bandwidth first while the backup is in use.

Frequently asked questions
Will failover happen automatically?
Yes. Once configured, your firewall detects the outage and moves traffic to the backup connection, then moves it back when the primary returns.
Is cellular backup fast enough?
For payments, VoIP and most cloud apps, yes. We prioritize critical traffic so the backup is used for what matters most.
What if cellular signal is weak inside our building?
We test signal during the site visit and can add external or directional antennas, or recommend a second wired carrier instead.
Can you set this up during an outage?
Yes. Emergency backup internet is one of the most common emergency calls we take.
